Hey Fragrance Fam,

Three new fragrance drops just landed, and all three are causing a buzz! The first two are from Khadlaj.

Let’s break them down!

Onyx Gold pulls inspiration from Blonde Amber by Clive Christian, delivering rich amber warmth and dry fruit depth… without the $610 price tag.

It opens warm and inviting with rum and soft spice, lifted by bitter orange and ginger. The heart brings dried fruits layered over creamy sandalwood and subtle florals. The dry down is smooth and deep, built around vanilla, tonka bean, myrrh, and patchouli.

This feels polished, confident, and expensive without trying too hard.

Why it stands out

  • Blonde Amber–inspired DNA

  • Rich amber warmth with dry fruit depth

  • Luxury-style scent experience for $44.50

    Notes

  • Top: Bitter Orange, Ginger, Rum, Cardamom - Middle: Sandalwood, White Florals, Osmanthus, Dried Fruits - Base: Vanilla, Myrrh, Tonka Bean, Patchouli

Who this is for:

👉 If you like warm, grown-up scents that feel refined and intentional.”

Onyx Silver goes the opposite direction. Inspired by Parfums de Marly Castley, this one is clean, fresh, and spicy.

It opens crisp with citrus and spice. The heart stays fresh. The dry down lands with patchouli, resins, and creamy tonka without losing its brightness.

Why it stands out

  • Castley-inspired fresh spicy profile

  • Clean opening with a smooth, refined dry down

  • Premium feel for $44.50

    Notes

  • Top: Bergamot, Ginger, Black Pepper - Middle: Petitgrain, Cardamom - Base: Patchouli, Labdanum, Benzoin, Tonka Bean

    Who this is for:

👉 If you want something modern, versatile, and easy to reach for daily.

The next one is from my fave, Lattafa!

“Eternal Vanille wraps the senses in a cocoon of warmth and indulgence. Lush vanilla caviar blends seamlessly with deep cacao, unfolding into silky tonka and tender musk. Elegant notes of cedarwood and Akigalawood™ lend a refined depth, while the signature Cocoa Pulse™—an exclusive ingredient—introduces a spicy gourmand accent that heightens richness and sensuality.”

Why it stands out:

  • Rich vanilla and cacao with a modern gourmand profile

  • Grounded by woods and soft musks for balance
Warm, smooth, and controlled, not sweet, not loud

    Notes

  • Top: Blackberry - Middle: Cocoapulse, Vanilla Caviar and Cacao - Base: Akigalawood, Cedarwood, Benzoin, Tonka Bean, Ambrofix and Musk.

Who this is for:

👉 If you want a vanilla that feels confident, wearable, and not juvenile.

Final Thought

What I like about these drops is the range.

Warm and rich.

Clean and modern.

Smooth and comforting.

Different moods, same goal: smelling intentional without overthinking it.

And if you missed last week’s newsletter on Win Valentine’s Day With These, it pairs perfectly with how fragrances like these actually work IRL! Worth a read if you haven’t checked it out yet.

More soon,

— Garin
